Jen Mannix
Owner, Fearless Leader

I love women's sports. I played them for as long as my knees held up, and I've watched them as long as they've been available on TV (sadly not my entire lifetime...)
I love anything that contributes to the empowerment of girls and women. In creating FPA, I strive to create experiences and events that support these two loves.
More on my past/current work life is available on LinkedIn. I'd love to connect!
Who we are.

Kris (some call her Wax)
Co-Owner and (mostly) Silent Partner

Kris's day job for most of her working life was in the realm of social services, helping to save the world, one person at a time. She is now happily retired and always finding new ways to express herself through her art.

Celebrating 20 years together (13 married) in 2026, we have played and watched sports since we were kiddos. After living 30+ years in Juneau, Alaska, we now live in Tacoma with our rambunctious pup, Rio.
